As always, you're able to break it down and do the reaction justice. Home Free nailed this on so many levels. TikTok has been rocking these shanty's for the past few months. Home Free actually has put this up on TikTok and they're encouraging people to duet them. There's also a nod to TikTok with the way their logo is set in the lower left hand corner and also with the vertical recording. Adam? Castanets? Sure, why not just expand his Freak of Nature status?! Tim doing what Tim does, tying everything together and holding that bassline that rumbled from somewhere deep below the waves. Chance loves sea shanties and brought it up to the group and he brought his A game. Austin got to show off some of his music theater background. But getting to actually hear Rob sing in a bit lower register in the Cape Cod Girls (the 4th one) was really nice. I wouldn't mind it one bit if they did another round of these. ❤

Tim looks confused about how he wound up looking like a pirate (at first), and Rob is balancing hipster-barista and pirate. Oh my god, I love these guys. The harmonies are incredible, and they make everything - EVERYTHING - sound so effortless.

Adam: Prince Eric. Chance: modern Sailor. Tim: Captian Jack. Rob: biker/lumberjack pirate. Austin: Sinbad. Tim in the little boat with his eyeliner. Austin with his eyeshadow.

I totally agree with you. Tim was dressed like Jack Sparrow and Austin was actually acting like him. I couldn't get over the castanets that Adam made in the last song. Your reactions are always great and something I look forward to.

This all started in the U.K. on tik tok .A postman sang that song ( the first one ) and it went to number 1! Home free reference him in a lovely way if you know what to look for

When Adam whipped out the castanets I lost it. He is a hoot anyhow, but him doing his flamenco dance just sent me over the edge. They are all so darn funny. The first thing I usually listen for is that low load of bass, then listen again and again to try to catch each voice. Well, this time Adam took me for a ride and I got whiplash about halfway through. Notice the tempo gets faster and faster and faster annnnnnnd FASTER. Love it.

Chance was so happy when they did this song, He loves Sea Shanty's and they all give him grief over that. ^.^

Drama, I love your reactions, especially to Home Free! I'm an avid Home Fry and love to see others meet and appreciate them. I was also glad to see a reaction to Voice Play. They have their own style, as different from Home Free as HF is from Pentatonix. Their totally incredible bass, Geoff Castelluci, has been releasing some awesome solo work. Adam Rupp, world class beatboxer, "The Freak of Nature", percussionist extra ordinare. He keeps widen his sound portfolio, fortunately it's allmost all in his mouth, otherwise it would be expensive to travel with all those instruments 😂😂😂

You are totally right and that's one reason I love watching reaction videos. I'm partially deaf so I listen and watch very closely but different reactors listening and watching might catch something I missed and a different reactor catch even different. One reactor caught what sounded like waves hitting the boat in one part of the song so I went back it's extremely subtle but it's there. That's why you are one of my two favorite reactors because you don't play to the camera or goof around for views you actually pay attention to both the music and the video.

I think I watched a vocal coach (an expert) break down one of their songs and she heard things I never heard. Adam killed this. I was amazed at the castanets sound he made in the last song. My favorite part was Adam’s Wood Finger Castanets imitation (last song). It was sport on, clear, and fast. Than Tim’s low dropped notes in the beginning.

That's so true. It's impossible to catch everything in one listen. I always have to watch it twice simply to see everything going on in the video, then again to hear it all without the video. Most of the time, it takes multiple times, esp with these guys, to see/hear as much as I can! On top of that, I'm at a Patreon level that gets the karaoke tracks, so I need to hear those as well and it still amazes me how much I missed! 😄 That's why it's fun to watch the reactors becuz sometimes even more is pointed out. I've been waiting for you to react to this, 'cause I knew you would appreciate the subtle nuances that make this so much fun. It may be slightly more "produced" than some of their other songs, but the background shouts...the slight reverb... all add to the authentic sea shanty feel. Nothing feels extraneous and unnecessary. If I were to find any fault with this, it's that I can't stop singing it in my head! Holy Shit indeed!

When you paused to remark on Adam’s beatboxing, I smiled and thought “Just you wait” 😊 because I knew what was coming in the last song 🙀 Loved your reaction...talk as much as you want! And I think you’re right, they raised the bar...this is different and a little unexpected for them, and they blew it out of the water. I even thought Austin’s and Rob’s voices sounded different.
