Hi! Thanks for the comment! Home Warranties are typically for one year and range in price from $500-1k+ depending upon levels of coverage. There are policies for single family properties but you can also cover individual units in multi family properties as well. They don't seem to be quite as commonly used in Rhode Island but can be a smart investment---you definitely have to read the fine print and make sure you really understand what is covered and how to file a claim.
