There was a game he played that his name had an Easter egg where one of the characters said he must be “a badass hero”. Idk remember which video it was though.
That was silly, but it made me laugh. The way I took it is that Gavril was reverting to a primal state due to the slime as he just wants food, but he does take wallets and have a phone and pet so he probably lost his friends to the slime. If Gavril stayed he'd probably attack the protag on instinct. Those last traces of humanity made a friend...sad in a way.
That's so spooky, we can tell he's unpredictable and dangerous for reasons we don't know. So the love ending feels anxious because we're in relationship with him and the parasite slime too. It's tragic 😔

I really appreciate you pointing out at the end that a lot of games like this go further into a very exploitative place. "Overpowering male monster" tropes lend themselves to some really dark power dynamics that are pretty uncomfortable to sit through and even more uncomfortable to think deeper about. This one was just a little weird, which you pointed out, but it gets deep in other examples.
Yes I'm glad that was mentioned as "predatory" not just creepy. I thought he meant homicidal but no there be games with genuine violators in the story. That's depressing to see.
@@kloy.m341 it's a good point. Sometimes the game compels you to accept some really unhealthy obligation to really dysfunctional or even predatory characters and that feels really gross too.
True it can be concerning, but if it's plainly stated in the description or a splash screen warning before the entire game/video/media whatever what is going on I honestly don't see a problem with it. Some people are kinky.

People want actually engaging stuff instead of “spooky guy gets up close and y/n cant do anything about it besides blush” (The trope is overused now.) TL;DR: I sometimes hate this trope. And so do other people.
Honesty, if they are looking for a voice actor for him, Manly is the best choice, since he good at bring emotions and have a deep voice, since I feel like he would have a deep voice.

I think this is the first time you play a game with romanian origins! Gavril is pronounced Gah-vRil with a hard r, and Aoleu is peonounced Ah-Ou-leu. La revedere is L-ah Reh-veh-deReh. Sobolan is actually Șobolan and it’s Shoh-boh-lahn.ts so cool that Romania is represented!
Casually starts “dating” the thing that broke into your house to rob your food and potentially eat you alive, maybe its just me but thats alot of trust one puts into a not so human not so monster thing that just broke into your house, but it has a thing going for it. Gavril looks…. Vaguely similar to Aizawa so if you like Aizawa, and you like monstrous things, Gavril is the right man for you.

Tall Dark and Xenophilic is what I tend to call this genre of fiction, idk about these RPGs. A lot of people seem surprised to know how thriving the xenophilic community is online, there's a wide range of tastes (see what I did there).
