I sometimes forget to close my blinds in the evenings but now I no longer have to worry about that. With the Graywind Smart Zebra Blinds, I have Alexa routines and schedules to take care of everything.
Although the blinds are compatible with Alexa, you cannot open or close using buttons on the app. You can only open or close by voice or by setting up routines and with the Graywind remote of course.
The manual stated to press the button on the motor 4x and then hold 1 time for 3 seconds to pair with Alexa but that didn’t work. What I did was tap the button 5 times, only then will Alexa was able to discover the blinds.
And also, I decided not to use the solar panel because I don’t mind manually charging the motor once every 3-6 months.
