My grandfather's brick mailbox used to get hit all the time, and he hated it. So in order to solve this, he got a mailbox with a concrete center, so when a hit and run occurred, the car would drive away looking like it got hit by a truck. And from what I know, the mailbox was still there when he sold the house later on.

Just a heads up, try to never use wireless cameras unless it is the last resort. Wireless cameras never hold battery, have horrible connectivity issues and typically won’t last as long as something hard wired. In your case tho, looks like the best case scenario

It's great that we can install out own home security systems, i'm not handy at all and it was super easy to install cameras and alarm with SimpliSafe, and I could customize. It's a small investment for the amount of peace of mind it gives you.

In my opinion since you are a homeowner a camera thats wired can also record 247 to an sd card. Battery cams only do motion tracking.

Not only has our mailbox been run into a few times to the point where it fell down, But one day we were driving up and we noticed that our mailbox was completely gone, pole and all. And so this began the month long journey of getting another mailbox from Amazon, The first one was tiny and was basically bent in half I don't know how they been a mailbox in half but the mailman did it somehow. Note all this time we had no mailbox and we didn't have a PO box so we had no mail or bills. Though afterwards we did end up getting an $80 Amazon mailbox My dad still had to dig a hole in the ground to pour concrete for the wood "pole" he got from Lowe's he spray painted it black and then I painted a blueberry cow on the mailbox and we got those number stickers from the dollar store for our mailbox I'm finally after over month we finally got a mailbox back and I think maybe a week after someone ran into it and chipped a big chunk off the pole so the mailbox was kind of fine
