Very thorough review. I live alone in a small apartment and am kind of a random housekeeper, although I do include housework in my monthly goals and daily to-do list. I think having a separate housekeeping planner would be overkill for me. I can see how it could work for people who want more structure.
I’m slightly ashamed to say that i am currently not that good at cleaning regularly so this would be a great addition to my current planner, but first I must declutter and do the konmari method first!!!
I was new to her system a few months ago...but the more time I spend on her blog and her IG I am converted;) LOL. I think it's a wonderful well thought out system.
I wish I could space out chores during the week. This seems to be for SAHMs? However I work full time so my husband and I do all our chores on the weekend.
I understand it won't work for everyone. Although she has specifically talked about in some blog posts how she would use it as someone who works full time outside the home. Just FYI in case you want to go search those posts and read them:) Thanks for chiming in!
I understand;) The rotating Tasks are on the free monthly calendar printable that she offers-- but the monthly focus is only available in the HomeKeeping Planner and the Homekeeping Society Subscription. She has a lot of content for free on her website and blog...and on her Instagram she leads you through the weekly tasks every week, and the Daily tasks are easy to memorize;)
great review! I love structure and this system tells you exactly what to do. Honestly, it seems like a lot in the beginning but once you get into the routine of things it gets easier and faster. Since you have your boys to help with the weekly tasks it will be easy peasy lemon squeezy :D
Thanks for the pep talk Vickie:) I certainly need it for cleaning;) I actually don't mind cleaning and even enjoy some of the tasks...but my video work takes all my "cleaning" time is the biggest issue right now;)
@@AmandasFavorites I know exactly what you mean. Its tough because this is a real busy time of year for you. 😬 hang in there friend. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. I’m loving all the videos ❤️😃😘
I understand those feelings for sure. I myself work part time from home and homeschool 2 boys (one is 17 and I don't have to do anything for him really;) I can't do everything on her list monthly...I haven't even tried because I have no desire to give up that much family time or my precious down time for the sake of accomplishing every task. I like the monthly focus and rotating tasks as a guide...I can pick and choose what I do. The rotating Tasks are on the free monthly calendar printable but the monthly focus is only available in the Homekeepig Planner and the Homekeeping Society Subscription. Just fyi;) Thanks for chiming in because I love to hear others perspectives.
I like the rotating tasks and monthly focus section, but the weekly tasks don’t fit my house or schedule. Can I download the monthly tasks for her website? Otherwise, this is an intriguing planner! Thanks for reviewing. :)
The rotating Tasks are on the free monthly calendar printable but the monthly focus is only available in the Homekeepig Planner and the Homekeeping Society Subscription. So I would check out that subscription on her website;)
