Bought mine open box for a hundred bucks. I've been running it for about a month and a half. Definitely less humid in the house and no noticeable increase in my energy bill.
That was my concern. We got 3 for our home here in Louisiana. Our bedroom gets up to 80% and was causing SERIOUS allergy issues with me. I would be congested 5 minutes in the room. Now, I can breathe clear. We got the bigger model (4500) for downstairs and 2 of the small ones for individual rooms upstairs...
@@Hmy8799 Yep, dehumidifiers are game changers for our climate. You'll find that you can set your a/c at a higher temp in the summer yet feel cooler cuz...low humidity.
I had the continuous hose connected and that was work good but now it just fills the but the hose is still connected but now the bucket fills with water do you know how to trouble shoot this?
I have it set on comfort setting. What humidity level will it cut off and how long before it goes back on. I live in FLA and I need to keep it at a correct level. ?
I think comfort just defaults to 50° which is usually the standard whenever you walk into a nice restaurant and stuff. I set it to 45, but whatever you want to set it as...find what's comfiest for you then hit the CONTINUOUS button. It'll keep it at that level until it's full. Once it's full it won't start until you empty it. If you have a hose (not included), it'll be on 24/7 no emptying required. If you're in FLA, when it is on CONTINUOUS mode I would turn on TURBO which just dries a room faster than standard. The reason turbo isn't on by default is because it makes the room a bit warmer, so keep that in mind. I usually turn turbo on if I have been out of town and need it dry, then I just turn turbo off and leave on in continuous. I love it. Hope this helps!
Have the same model only lasted a year and a half , just a few months just after the warranty ended Refrigerant loss was the issue and a giant piece of Ice on the bottom 4 coils is the telltale sign and it`s not the auto defrost feature Good Luck if yours lasts more than that Chinese Junk
Mine has said it’s full when it isn’t since the day I bought it. Every time I have to play with it and the lever inside to make it realize it isn’t. It’s a huge headache and I hate it and would never buy it again.
I would try contacting the company if I were you! They were (surprisingly) extremely helpful when I contacted them. You can email them and I remember having communicated with them via the Amazon app, in messages-which I didn’t know existed haha.
The government should ban this garbage from the market that is fault why the reasons why we are playing higher electricity bills and costumes bills are triple up in the third semester
