Caitlin Shoemaker are you into making a video on how to spice certain proteins like tofu that taste almost like their meat equivalents? I unfortunately still love the taste of meat.. not sure how to reproduce these types of flavors.
Tijmen J. I hate the taste of meat but I know something that tastes exactly like it - soy meatballs. if u can find those in a store nearby - try them out. For tofu, I would recommend the extra firm kind, put it in some sort of salty marinade (add this thing called "liquid smoke" in the marinade if u can find it too) and fry on each side. Btw tofu with seaweed makes fish flavor (legit).
I know probably no one cares, but PACARI is a brand of chocolate from Ecuador (my home country). I am studying abroad right now and it feels so nice to see someone eating something from your country (when everyone you live with doesn't know what Ecuador is).
I don't know much about Ecuador but I had classmates who were born there who would have yearly trips back there, tell me so much about it and i've seen pretty places it have there but haven't heard much about it other than them
@@cookiecarooi easy peasy. make a basic cookie (flour, plant milk, sweetness, lil bit oil), make the date caramel, put it on top, slice the bars, roll them in chocolate, done.

I totally made the Snickers and gave them out at my birthday this weekend! Everyone LOVED them and they are so satisfying. I made them fun sized and that was perfect.

can I just say, I always SO appreciate how much work goes into these videos?? I can't imagine how much time you must take to create the recipes (let alone be constantly coming up with things all the time), film these super detailed and aesthetically beautiful videos, and do such a great job with the edits! I made the peanut cups changing one thing. I melted the chocolate directly in the muffin cups in the toaster oven for maybe thirty seconds for bottom layer, and again for top layer. Love these homemade peanutbutter cups. Thanks Caitlin. You are the very best.
yum yum YUM! I came to accept that all my favorite candy bars weren't vegan when I first transitioned and I've found some decent alternatives, but I'm definitely going to try to recreate them like you did here because these look delicious and so much easier than I thought they'd be!

They all look so good! Snickers used to be my favourite too but I really like the look of the Almond Joy bars. We don't have them in the UK but they look like a yummier version of a Bounty bar 😍
this video may have saved my life! I really like the date-caramel idea. I saw another video for vegan snickers and the guy used corn syrup and white sugar and I was worried about doing that, but this seems perfect!

Fab lunch made 2 of these desserts and omg!! That snickers one is better than the real thing! Any nut butter and date paste is so dam good together!! YUM!
This all looks delicious 😋 If you want to make sure there's no pb showing on the sides of the pb cups, you can brush the melted chocolate up the sides of the liners before you put them in the freezer the first time
I made the snickers and it was AWESOME! Also, I used the snickers recipe and instead of coating it in chocolate I added a bit more salt and it tastes like a Payday! Thank you so much for sharing your recipes Caitlin!
