pre heat oven 180 degrees C
lamington tin approx 18 x 28 cm lined with baking paper
base
med saucepan
125g unsalted butter
melt
while thats melting
large bowl
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup desicated coconut
mix
when butter melted add to mix and stir til all ingredients wet
pour into pan
flatten back of spoon
bake for 15 mins
set aside to cool a little
leave oven on
filling
med saucepan
100g unsalted butter
2 x 395g cans sweetened condensed milk
2 heaped table spoons treacle.... you will find this at grocery store next to golden syrup in the baking isle
2 heaped table spoons golden syrup
put on low heat stir until butter has melted through and smooth
pour over slice even out drop tin a few times
bake for 20 mins
allow to cool on bench for 20 mins
after 20 mins
in a heat proof bowl
200g milk chocolate chips or block chopped
1 table spoon oil
small saucepan half fill boiling water sit bowl on top as chocolate starts to melt stir til melted
pour over slice smooth out then drop a few times till really smooth
place on tea towel and put in fridge for min 4 hours or overnight
slice into bars with hot knife
cover bars in glad wrap store in fridge
