Ingredients:
60 g wheat flour
40 g corn flour
1 tsp. baking powder
0,5 tsp. salt
0,5 tsp. paprika
2 cans of canned corn 350 g each
30 g butter
100 g sour cream
50 g Cheddar cheese
The steps are:
Preheat oven to 180°C (356°F) and grease a 23 cm (9 inch) round baking pan with butter.
Tip one can of corn into a sieve and leave it to drain. Take the second jar, put it in a container with the liquid and corn kernels and chop with a blender.
In a large bowl, combine ground corn mixture and corn kernels without liquid, melted butter, sour cream and eggs. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the wheat flour, the corn flour, the baking powder, the salt, and the paprika. Add the dry ingredients to the corn mixture and stir until well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove the pie from the oven and sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on top. Return the pie to the oven for another 5 to 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
