Omg this looks delicious!!! I'm going to buy a few bunches of banana and keep them ready in the freezer! You should not feel jealous of anyone's videos...yours are amazing! Thank you Olga!
Girl this looks amazing! I made some banana ice-cream the other day with roasted hazlenuts.. soo good. You're videos are so beautiful. cant wait to get cooking in the kitchen with you :D
Omg.. that looks so good! I just made the fruit version of it in my high powered food processor and used a little agave to sweater it then added coconut flakes, raisins and more regular bananas on top and omg.. so good! Better than icecream!!
omg I tried this today my toddler and I love it lol!!Thank you!!! I have tried banana frozen but adding cacao and nibs to the mix is just awesome!!!I have to try the syrul next time did not have any ingredients to complete the syrup.
I love banana based ice cream! We make it very often with my little girls during the summer. Our favorite mix is frozen bananas with frozen raspberries. This ice cream looks very delicious and the syrup looks amazing - we will definitely have to try this! And I don't know what you are talking about when you say you wish your videos were better? I am always amazed at the professional quality of your videos! They are perfect! I will have to check out the other channel just to see what could possibly be better in her videos! You are beautiful! Blessings!
For those asking if Nutribullet works - I have both a magimix (food processor) and a Nutribullet and ALWAYS use the Nutribullet - WORKS LIKE A CHARM! : ) It's magic. Honestly. Just make sure the nanas are super ripe. Like, almost OFF ripe. ENJOY. Also, adding almond butter makes the ice cream taste, I don't even have the WORDS.
Catherine D. Thank you so much for the comment Catherine! I don't have a Nutribullet myself, so it's good to know that it can be used as well. As long as you have a powerful blender or a food processor, you can definitely make banana ice cream. Also, YES to almond butter! I was going to mention it in the video, but I forgot. You can mix it with the ice cream or drizzle some on top. Yum!! :D
love it! p.s. i was watching this while my bf was sleeping so i turned the volume down and put on the captions-funniest thing ever!the computer gets them so wrong!sometimes it thought you were saying the f word! lol if anyone gets a chance put on the captions when she's about to start making the ice cream lol
I love your voice, it's so relaxing❤️😍😘 Oh and I'm definitely making this!! Do you think you can do a recipe on how to make vegan candies, I know you did a video on the vegan candy already but I was hoping that you can do vegan kitkats, payday, and mabey do an ice cream snickers and twix? That would be soooo cool❤️❤️
Hi Olga! This looks so amazing! I can't wait to try this :D Thankies tons for this recipe! My friend and I can't really have ice cream (it hurts our stomachs) and this looks like a perfect alternative! :D Lots of Love!
I should try this because I do have bananas I just have to freeze them. I have cacao powder and coconut oil. But the sad part is that I don't have a vitamix. Will a nutribullet work as well? Plz let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.
I make banana ice cream too! I will try your chocolate sauce recipe. Mango ice cream is also delicious. I use one bag of frozen mangoes, one very small frozen banana, and a little coconut milk. It taste like sherbet.😋 Btw, I love my Vitamix! I use it almost daily. It's very expensive but I certainly have gotten my money's worth😃💰!
I love your channel. Great recipes! I wish you'd talk more about why to go Vegan to prevent animal cruelty or how sick and terrible the animal agriculture corporation is. Veganism isn't just a diet, it's a passion to help the world be a better place.
Hello! Here is a challenge for you ;) I am allergic to nuts, eggs, dairy, and I don't drink soy or coconut milk. I know. My diet is pretty plain and I would love if you could make more videos like this because this recipe is perfect! Please make more videos for people like me! :) xx
QUESTION...if I have unripe bananas, but open them up and let them expose to oxygen and brown for a couple hours and they get smushy, does that count as "ripening" them? Like does that have the same nutritional benefits as a traditionally ripened banana?
I tried the chocolate liquid you put on top but i needed to add a lot, a lot more maple syrup bc the cacao powder and coconut oil tasted weird together :/ did i do something wrong?
If you freeze extra ice cream, would it keep the same consistency? I don't know if I should store more in the fridge or the freezer? Help please. Lol 😂
but seriously, arent cacao nibs completely flavorless? I have a bag but i cant seem to eat them pleasantly.. they are so brittle-like too, like there is 0 moisture in them
If you can easily afford it then go ahead. I personally think it's WAYY to expensive because you could find other high quality blenders for a much better price. I have a ninja blender which I got for 100 US dollars.
True. I freeze mine overnight but if you're not patient or in a hurry, you only need to freeze it for 2 hours. IF the consistency (soz i forgot how to spell it) is not satisfying, you can freeze it in the freezer AGAIN. I froze it for 6 hours. I don't know, some people said that you only need to freeze it 2 hours. If this helped you, i am very happy.
Willy, Vegan & HardBeatz The main difference between cocoa powder and cacao powder is how they're made. Cacao powder is raw. It's made by cold-pressing raw cocoa beans. Cocoa powder, on the other hand, is made by processing the cocoa beans at high temperatures which removes a lot of beneficial antioxidants and lowers their nutritional value. Sochilinda is right, most of the cocoa powders that are sold in grocery stores also contain added sugar. Hope this helps! :)
ngaiosbrain I live in Canada and Jenny lives in Sweden. So we had to do a virtual collab :) I picked one of Jenny's recipes and she picked one of mine and we prepared them with our own twists.
To anyone who can please help me out: I'm not vegan nor vegetarian or anything like that. I have been struggling with hair loss and skin problems for a very long time now. I was so close to losing all my hair at one point in my life. I tried going vegetarian for a while but it was extremely difficult and i kept losing weight. I am already naturally skinny and losing weight is definitely something that doesn't make me happy and seriously affects my self-esteem. However, now I feel like going vegetarian for at least 2-3 days a week as a start and see where & how it goes. My questions are the following: 1- How can i be vegetarian/vegan without losing fat or weight? 2- Will this decision help my hair grow stronger and thicker? (i've never dyed my hair) 3- I know this may be too much for some people but does this lifestyle ease the pain during period? 4- Will it help my skin? 5- What are some ways to gain weight instead of losing it but through a vegetarian/vegan diet? Thank you so much in advance to whoever will reply! PS i will be posting these questions on different channels to compare what advice I get :)
I'm not sure if there's a good substitute for it if you want the chocolate sauce to become solid like hers, because the coconut oil is the only reason it hardens.
I have tried making it that way (only ripe banana & cocoa powder) but its too bitter for me. I've not yet tried making your sweeter topping but I will.
