A project over the week turned out to be more than I expected. I used sled mounted to a turning threaded rod to slide a camera.

I originally made this device to be able to move a camera forward consistently. If I had a hand crank to turn the rod, I could move the camera by a set number of turns and take a picture at each stopping point. This would make a time-lapse that has some motion.
