nice video, i made .22 explos with samyang hunting pellets and a drilles out tip, but i want to take it a step further, i am thinking of making a mould for .68 large hollow point for paintball guns like t9.1 magfed to cast them in aluminum, imagine how much flash would fit in there and what a bang it would give on target :D
You should do try to shoot it you shoot at model tanks or airplanes or model ship and this guy have a model tank and when he shoots it with his air pistol or his air rifle whatever he use it makes the tanks look like they were actual tastes good damage from battle damaged it looks
Put the powder vehind the slug so that is accelerates it more. A 850fps 20grain 22 from a pump rifle was okay but thwn when shootint a 22nailgun blank with a 24grain pellets in it did 2590fps....
Could you make some slugs in this fashion? Perhaps like a .25 or .357 hollow point? U could take a drill bit and deepen the hole and make it wider so it can fit alot more powder while having weak enough walls to hopefully be able to have it explode in fragments. Perferably i want a .25 50grain hollow point drilled out to 35-38grains My gun shoots that over 1200fps. You could insert a steel bb or like a little metal tip over the hollow point hole to so that likd the explosion propells that center piece even deeper and it keeps the powder all safe abd sound without spilling out. Like that would be sick 1200fps 25cal explosive hollow point with a penetrarion tip, when it hits itll explode sending the tip down range even farther and the rest of the now thinner wallled hollowpoint will fragment abd explode in all directions. Hollowpoints that i cut a x pattern down the top with already do that cus of the sheer speed but the powder would be super duper cool. Or like i have a aea defender 2 air pistol. I use sabots. My 165grain .457 sabot with a .257 center slug does 78fpe and 16in penetration with the short 3.75 or 4in barrels. I wounder do you think that filling the open space around the .257 slug inside the sabot would make it sebd the .257 at a significantly increased speed wheb it explodes? Or even i could use a 224 center slug that gives like .233 of space worth of powder that can fit in the sabot. I think thats a fairly large ammount. Does it blow from impact? If so i can place the bullet halfway out the top of the sabor getting even more powder space and if i have a solid base when the sabot hirs the .224 slug will push bacj into the sabot sauezinf the powder between the slug and the bottom of the sabor causing a boom which will send that slug out since its the path of least resistance
