This week we're having this delicious appetizer called hummus! It has got so popular within the last three decades. Today you can find hummus almost in every restaurant.
Hummus, which is very easy to make, is also very nutritious! You can either serve it cold or you can serve it as a warm starter with a little sausage or pastrami.
-For hummus:
450 grams of canned chickpeas (need to be peeled)
6 tbsp of tahini
1 tsp of cumin
Juice of 1 lemon (3 tbsp juice)
2 cloves of garlic
1 tea glass of olive oil
Salt
Ice cubes (until you get the desired texture)
-For the top:
(Optional) Pastrami
(Optional) Cumin seed
