Do you enjoy eating shawarma? Then you’ll definitely enjoy cooking it at home. Everyone can easily make it, and it comes out cheaper, tastier, and healthier than the food we usually buy on the street.
Its main ingredient is a chicken thigh fillet, pan fried in a special way for just about 5-6 minutes.
For the filling besides chicken, we use iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, sweet bell peppers, red onion pickled in apple cider vinegar, cilantro, and pickled cucumbers.
There are no set ingredients or measurements here; add whatever and however much you want.

You can wrap it either in lavash or tortilla. You can also go the extra mile and make some homemade tortillas, just like in our video about making qutabs.
