you can use fresh mint leaves if you have them in the garden..... just add them to the milk/cream in the pan when you warm it (same as tea leaves when you make a cup of tea) .... then just strain them out you'll not need to use extract from a bottle, and you'll not need the green colouring
Laura so nice to hear your story about your grandma's idea to eat the egg yolks in the morning. Here in Brazil, when we have a flu, my grandma does the same, but she actually add sugar on it and after beaten, we put hot boiled milk and drink it. It's a beverage and people say it helps your immunity system.
still working on that recipe. It's taken me some time to perfect it and once i feel it's just perfect then i will be making an episode on it. I want only the best for you guys! :)
Would you kindly share a good "birthday cake" flavored ice cream, please? I absolutely love this but it is hard to find a good birthday cake ice cream without it tasting like bubble gum and having the perfect texture. Much love to you, the fam, and Joe! Thank you!

Hi Laura! Grandmothers in Greece also used to make this beaten egg-yolk/sugar "cream" for their grandchildren when I was a kid, and they usually added cocoa to make it taste less "eggy" and more appealing to children. My grandmother never made it, although she had her own hens and we used to go together every morning to collect the eggs when I was little. But I have friends and cousins who have often had it for breakfast!
I LOVEE when you say 'SO GOOD' .. i always say that too now! .. anyway got a final exam tomorrow morning .. thanks for providing me with an addictive distraction! lol love you xx
My grandma feed me the same way for help me growing stronger she said...Sometimes I still do it by myself but only with very fresh eggs from my chickens...thanks Laura! Big hug from Italy
Hi Laura, I've started watching your videos from the start and I love them. There's an easier way to make ice cream if you don't have an ice cream machine. It's using just ice, salt, half n' half, sugar (unless the half n' half is sweetened), heavy cream, and the flavorings. There are actually videos on youtube about it. You just type in "how to make ice cream with ice and salt" the videos say to do it with two zip lock bags, but you can also do it using other air-tight containers and a zip lock bag for the mixture. I actually learned the trick in chem class. Just watch the video, try it if you want to and I hope it works for you. Greetings from PR and for me the best way to eat ice cream is soft serve.
You make me want an ice cream machine SOOO bad!!! This looks delicious. BTW I made you chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting yesterday and I could not BELIEVE how incredibly EASY it was!!! They're so moist, I LOVE IT!
