Recipe for pulled pork or slow cooker pork.
We are talking about a pork steak marinated with different spices and cooked slowly, in a slow cooker (I used Crock Pot) or in the oven.
When it comes to spices here you have the freedom to add the spices that you like and match the pork.
The meat is marinated from 12 hours to 42-72 hours. This depends on the time you have available.
The ready-marinated steak is left at room temperature for about an hour before being put in a slow cooker or oven.
If you do not have a slow cooker, put the meat in a dish with a lid and cook in the oven at a low temperature of 140°C - 150°C for 4-5 hours.
When ready, the steak is very well cooked and unfolds in strips along the fibers with two forks.
I chose to add the soup in which the meat was cooked and a little barbecue sauce.
Most of the time when I cook pulled pork we like to serve it in delicious sandwiches or burgers with coleslaw salad.
Of course, this delicious steak can be served with a salad or other garnishes of rice, potatoes.

- 1.2 kg pork neck
- 30g brown sugar
- 15g coarse salt
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 3-4 cloves of garlic
- 3 onions
- 200ml vegetable soup
- 70g tomato paste
- 70g barbecue sauce
