Today we are looking at my Homemade Impact Mill Rock Crusher, there was quite a few changes but all changes have been made. I originally had the discharge chute on the side since people said on the bottom didn't work too well, I found the bottom was best. I got a heavy set of chains on the shaft and they seem to be holding out pretty good. I can feed this thing all day and the honda Gx120 doesn't skip a beat.
it has work pretty good and i've already found gold with it

The quarry crushers like a rock dust build up as it protects the metal from wear. Sort of creates an auto renewing liner.

over-all, nice concept. I like that you used octagonal and the length. but why did you not run the discharge at the end, by the removable plate? and dare you using a screen in there? I'm trying to design one very similar but want it to run right into a gold cube but I crush down to 3/8" material and dry. good luck and shiny bottoms!

The chains don't look like their wearing at all. I notice you put your hand over the intake shoot , I'm wondering if you make a simple one way flap attachment at the bottom of a homemade funnel you could place in the PVC pipe to free you up to just load it when your on the gold. LOL

+STEVE ROB a exhaust flap to keep rain out would be perfect. That way small bits of rock to fly out

i have been watching for a while. what do you do with the tiny pieces of gold. where do you go and what value can it be. i watched the tv show about the river guys with the big loaders and a huge sluch thing. do you do the same thing. i don't believe the media much

Hi, I am curious why did you make a rock crusher, a crude filtration device and the blue thing to get out tiny pieces of gold that were clearly not justifying the efforts?

Just seemed a very inefficient hobby for a practical man such as yourself, I was hoping you might get around to up-scaling it enough to be in a position to make a piece of jewellery.
