That lemon oregano marinade sounds delicious Paul. I need to try tenderloin this way. Delicious video bud!

This looks great, but is there a reason why you didn't use the charcoal baskets that come with the Summit to bank the charcoal to the side?

Thanks Darryl, the reason why I don’t use the charcoal baskets is cause I’m so used to not using them plus I don’t like the way they fit off on the one side together. I’m gonna be doing a mod to my charcoal baskets soon that’ll allow them to be more useful I think.

@@paulsq_ I'm eager to see what you have in mind. I'm on the fence about buying a Weber E6, now that the price is more reasonable, vs. an SnS Deluxe Kamado, so I'm looking for all the information I can find. I currently have an Akorn kamado, and I'm thrilled with what I can do with it, but it's not going to last too much longer. I have an SnS Charcoal Basket for the Akorn and love using it, but there's no SnS product (any more) for the Summit/E6 grills as they discontinued their low profile model. Will I be happy using the Weber baskets, or will I miss the SnS 2 zone capability?

I know you got it as a freebie but why would anybody buy a bottle of lemon and oregano marinade instead of... You know... Olive oil, a lemon and some oregano. Also what makes it a "souvlaki" marinade in particular?

Not sure John, time will tell if the gasket needs replacing. I’ll definitely make a video if I ever need to replace it.
