A good basic strawberry jam recipe. Yummy. One additional step I learned from my mom. Take off the ring pieces after the 24 hours and inspect the top of the jar in case any fruit escaped. Clean away any food particles and replace the rings when thoroughly clean and dry. Otherwise the rims can get rusty and stuck. This is for any canning recipe.
