We loved it too and I love how easy it is! I made it a second time but I had 2 apples that were starting to look a bit sad, so I peeled and chopped them, fried them in a little butter to soften them and then popped them on the top of the same batter but in a small slab tin instead of the loaf - and OH MY that was really good too. Well done giving this a go having never baked before- I'm really impressed!! Cheers from Oz!
I love your channel, my grandma taught me to cook all these things and more s9 I am fairly capable but I have had five kids and I am a useless teacher so you are teaching the next generation of children who want to cook real food. Thank you very much !
We’ve just tried your lemon drizzle recipe- the family love it. Thank you for explaining everything so clearly, it makes baking much less daunting. Will be giving the samosas a try too 🎉
I love how a lot of your recipes are vegan, or can be adapted to be vegan. Im going to try upir scones and use soya milk and just glaze with milk. 😊 Definitely try these samosas too 🤤
so many cultures make easy-takeway stuffed dough pockets with as many varieties as possible. It's an amazing way to feed people on the go. Thanks for the demo
Looking forward to trying this recipe your instructions are so easy to follow and I thought making samosas would be too difficult but after watching you I can give this a try Thankyou and looking forward to your next video you are just brilliant love your channel
Thank you for this awesome recipe. Buying ready- made anything is quite costly. Being able to make stuff from scratch is very economical and I don't miss out on all my favourites. I'm on a plant- based diet and I make most things from scratch eg sauces, jams, breads, butter & yoghurt (trying different ingredients) and cheese (this is a tough one!), awa baked goods (biscuits, cakes & tarts etc). Many channels I follow use so many ingredients so I'm very glad I found your channel. I do like to avoid the oven as it's quite expensive to run, but I bake a batch of various things once a month. There's actually quite a few goodies that can be "baked" in a covered pot on the stove. I also use the microwave & InstaPot quite a bit. Tx for the vegetarian recipes... it's great not to be forgotten.
Thanks again, that's really generous of you and it is greatly appreciated. Hope you give the samosas a try they were delicious and only 15p each (a lot different to $5) Thanks a lot.
I thank the algorithm for bringing your video to me about three weeks back ...your simple unpretentious setup. . and your straightforward reproducible accessible style. ...takes the fear out of backing for novices like me ...hope you get more subscribers...but then , don't go on and change your setup and your style ...
Thanks a lot, my motto is "if it's not broken don't fix it", so the channel will be staying exactly the same and loads more videos to come. Thanks for watching.
This is great! I enjoy every video, so thank you. Many of your recipes are very simple and seems very tasty. I baked some scones with raisins. They was so great and I gave some away to a friend to enjoy. Looking forward to your videos.
Thank you that was a good demo of how the make the samosa pastry and pocket I will be giving this a go I made the blueberry muffins and the pizza dough both came out great I look forward to your great demo each week .x
Excellent videos, sir. I've only just discovered you and love the simplistic ways you bake, I'm not a Baker myself and have always wanted to try my hand at it, you have inspired me 😊
Hi I love watching your channel. I’ve made the spicey ginger cake on Monday for my Birthday lol. It was beautiful. I used gluten free flour it came out just right. So thank you I’m planning on the fruit loaf next. I look forward to more recipes. Maybe you could do a quiche for us all. I’m just not confident with that. Many thanks 😊
Nothing like a ginger cake on your birthday. And yes I have a quiche recipe and video ready for next wednesday, hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching.
👏 More than 14K in such a short time🎉 You have a wonderful channel, I love everything that you have showed us, and will begin trying all of your selections, as I have given a 👍 on Each of your videos!!!😍 Suzanne < New Mexico, USA
@@BakingOnABudget Thank you David, I will be. I've been watching all your videos to get up to speed 😁 I will start with the samosas and the potato and leek soup 👍🏻 learning good tips along the way as well ☺️
Oh, that looks delicious! I wonder if I could do this in an air fryer or convection oven. It wouldn’t be as tasty I’m sure, but it would be more keeping to the doctor’s orders.
I haven't had samosas in ages. Its just too expensive to get indian takeaway now. I always thought they were hard to make but your recipe is something i feel confident in trying. Thanks for all the wonderful recipes you are sharing 😊
As other have stated, I really appreciate that you use ingredients most people already have, none of this fancy pants stuff you can only get at a specialty shop for a weeks wages. These look amazing. I bet a dessert one would be fantastic, maybe some chopped apples and nuts cooked with a bit of sugar and corn starch tossed with some mixed spice?
I really appreciate this channel. Thank you. The format is so simple and no fuss, brilliant! These samosas look delicious and are on my list. Today Im trying your muffins recipe. The scones were delicious! Do you take requests? Because if you have a Cornish pasties recipe, I’d love to learn to create them too, no pressure of course 😊 🕊🇬🇧
Thanks a lot, cornish pasties are on the list, I'm going to do corned beef and potato pasties first but cornish is to follow. Hope the muffins turned out great. Thanks for watching.
A great channel and I love how you do the cost list and making goods on a budget. This helps a lot of people. I love how you represent your videos and what you have been making with most of the ingredients people would have in their larder. Thank you and I will be giving these a try, they look delicious. Have a lovely day.
Hello, these look great. I love samosas. I just have a question: Can these be baked in the oven? If so, for how long and what temperature please. I love your recipes, and I am a new subscriber ❤
Hi, I've never tried them in the oven but in theory it should work, you'd want about 180c for about 15 mins. But just keep checking them and when they brown a little that should be it. Let me know if you try it.
I reckon you can bake them as I've baked store-bought ones before - maybe check the instructions next time at the shops for the store bought ones, it will give an idea 😅
You made this look so easy and now I want to try it for myself. Thank You so much for sharing. Would you tell me your first name please. Enjoyed watching you.👌
