Nice to hear you and your wife have been out looking for places to work on again. This will be a good cleanup. If the renter doesn't care, it will still be important to the surrounding neighborhood. It will also last a while, as we are heading into fall/winter. The tall weeds would have never changed without your work. The man that stopped to ask you to move your truck, so he could access an alley, had good manners. That is a big plus in keeping society running well. On the yard, some people have no idea how vital their roles are in society. Learning to care for a home can start with a room or apartment. Beyond that, is added things as yard care and possibly home maintenance. Some people get into a home and don't realize they have a whole new set of skills to learn, even seasonal skills, and that their homes care affects all around them. Not the same as being "bad" people, but it is a responsibility level. 13:46, that was a nice little walkway you found. I like the "welcoming" aspect and the connection views (as sidewalks) that are appearing as you work. 30:02 That is a larger lot and a corner lot, so a lot of edging, etc. You've got the basic backlog in order and I'm waiting for it all to pull together as you mow. This property looks like it will look very good, neat when finished, by nature of the simple design. Congratulations on the result.
