because 90% of cars in those areas are ALWAYS unlocked. they probably live a few streets away. their own parents probably leave their cars unlocked too. i live in the hood, everything is locked here, but i have friends in the burbs and everything is unlocked, even their houses. even at night.

Was a cop for 30 years and I couldn't even begin to tell you how many people reported that their loaded firearms were stolen from their unlocked vehicles. It's mindboggling how many irresponsible gun owners are out there. I would not be surprised if the little suburbanite thieves in this video found those handguns in unlocked vehicles earlier during their crime spree.

Yes, if you want to leave your car unlocked you should be able to, it’s a nice dream, but don’t leave rare coins worth hundreds of dollars in your unlocked car just because you feel like you should. Sometimes people are just stupid.
its about as stupid as leaving a pizza outside because you "should" be able to do that without the fear of a stray animal eating it, but the reality is that if you leave a pizza outside, the animals "will" steal it. humans are animals too, just animals that can open unlocked doors to cars filled with hundreds of dollars. but you say "they should know better" but i say, they are kids. they do know better, but their brains havnt completely formed yet so they do things they shouldnt be doing. mostly for the thrill. i doubt they care about the stuff they steal as much as they love the feeling they get from all the adrenaline.
@@andreshernandez1180 No the coins would not need to be insured, that’s not how auto insurance works lmao. I’m assuming he has a policy that pays out for stolen items in the event of theft. And yes insurance companies just give out checks in many cases. My sister in law was the passenger in an accident and said her laptop was damaged, it wasn’t, insurance cut a check for it without any due diligence.
I live in a very safe neighborhood but I lock all my cars, don't keep anything in them, and also lock every door in my house and garage. You have locks. It's ez to use them and you are stupid if you don't.

Leaving valuables in an unlocked vehicle or leaving your home doors and windows unsecured is just asking for trouble and certainly is not a very wise thing to do. Children ? 💔 🤦🏼♀️ children also broke into my vehicle. But I don’t care about the money they took and other items I was just worried because they took a pocket knife. My opinion life’s matter more then thing’s. It breaks my heart that it’s children doing this. And everyone involved in their lives our responsible for them not only parents. For example I work at a school I can make a difference in a child’s live just by smiling responding with love in every situation. 💔
