Well you should see the Shoreditch/Spitalfields area now in 2017, new buildings everywhere old ones completely refurbished . The updated East London line. Liverpool street just round the corner, loads of eateries. Properties are now very expensive. The Bishopsgate development coming up as well.

Quite staggering that the Spitalfields buyer John bought his first property at 19 when he was just a diamond cutter. That must've been around 1985. This would be impossible for any working-class teenager in the UK today in pretty much any area, let alone London, the most expensive part.
