Awesome choices! I see that you have Maps book. I recently purchased mine at our local thrift store for $6! I was not sure if my 4 year old would like it because, I agree with you, I think it's a little too busy. But, we tried it and surprisingly he took quite an interest in the the book. We spent some time just looking at different elements in different countries. The Maps (huge) book is what beautiful feet: around the world curriculum use for every lesson. This find is what drives me in purchasing beautiful feet. And the way you explained guest hollow, it has similar methods to beautiful feet and comparable to five in a row. Appreciate you sharing!

I have a lot of Guest Hollow programs for next year scheduled (anatomy jr, LA’s, and geo Jr). I saw the update to their Geography this month and I bought mine in January so I have the old version. I took a quick look at the new version and it looks very animal based vs people based. Are you doing the new one? Is this a fair assessment?

I have actually not done the early version but at your question I went through the book lists and believe grade 3 and up it is people based and k through 2 it is animal based. This was based on review of the current book selections between the two groups.

@@HomeschoolShoppingChannel I’ll have to take a closer look. Somehow my child likes vintage books more. 😅. I’ll probably try to combine both.
