As a former teacher, I totally agree that it was hard the first few years because I was trying to bring school in to our home. I’ve changed some things for this coming year and I’m really hoping it goes better and is more relaxed. 😀 Here is to a great year! 📚 🏠

I'm using the Good & the Beautiful homeschool curriculum for my younger son. They don't have highschool math but their elementary school level stuff is great and Christian oriented, too. We've had great experiences with their math, especially their musical math!
@@queenofthehousehold oh! Awesome! Their musical multiplication tables have been super helpful for my 8-9 year old to really want to practice the memorization that is needed for quick fact drills.. Before I found them we were struggling the same way you described! Way too schooly and forced and he hated it! We had so much fun with learning up until about "2nd grade" when I tried to do the same thing..make it about sitting and doing worksheets with a more traditional style but he had such resistance and no wonder! LOL it is not fun! TGATB helped bring back the fun and get him more interested. So happy to you've experienced similar situations and come to like conclusions 🙏✨ so reassuring. Bless you!
