I enjoyed watching this video of how you plan your school week. It was simple and relaxing. I have yet to use the School Nest planner. I’m thinking I will start this fall for the next chill year when my son joins my daughter in homeschool. Thanks for sharing how you use yours. Your haircut is cute!
@@brittanyolga I do a little binder or folder with a sampling of each years work. Just this week my daughter who is 8 pulled out every book and looked through each one. She loves reminiscing like that too.
Happy New Year! I like the hair cut. My beautician moved out of state so I have to find a new one and definitely need a cut. Ugh. Oh well. We started an entire new math program last week. New Year=Fresh start. We are trying to change up our year to refresh our minds.

You look stunning ❤️ your short hair really suits you. My daughter is 13 and isn't doing as much as your daughter. I wish I could engage her interests more. I also have a 6 year old son who is doing k mwc and hooked on phonics. He is really not a fan of maths but seems to enjoy reading. I feel like I want to throw away all the curriculum books and just start over as my kids just seem bored. The way you spoke about science sounds so fun and possibly a way that maths and english can be incorporated for the most part. We started back on Monday and we are doing a mini unit study on the picture book "were going on a bear hunt" as my 2 little boys (6 & 1) really love the story and they seem to have really enjoyed that. I'm wondering if this is the way forward but I guess I'm scared to take that leap. X
I know this is an old video, but did you do the teacher intensive training for IEW, or does your daughter do the classes without you? (Online or video)
I did not take the teaching course. I just watched the first 2 unit videos with my daughter to understand how the writing instruction was taught. The teachers manual is very user friendly and guided me through out the whole course.
