If I could be reborn as an api or neve preamp and live my life screwed into a rack across from a console in a recording studio I think I'd be happy existing each day with the challenges and rewards of records being made around me all the time. The reputation of jaded session players and engineers really betrays how much hope there is in the room when you're making a record. It's like delivering babys.

Always hits me just how much you are such a legend Tom. Couldnt have happened to a better guy. You always look so relaxed among such great musicians yet you are always humble and always smiling. Im sure everyone agrees its so good to see how you bring your love and gratitude for music to always be brightening up all you work with. Such a truly beautiful thing to see.
