Wait until the end of 2021 and then start with Deserts of Kharak and go through to Homeworldd 2 so everyone has it fresh when Homeworld 3 comes out. Also if you haven't update the playlist. Good job.

@@razorback8300 no, no it didn't what makes this even worse is how far this one deviates from the thematic formula, along with how bad the unit behavior is. 5 years of development since the initial announcement in sept 2019, possibly longer, and we still get a broken game on launch with a mediocre story. as someone who spent a total of $400, I'm pissed.

@@kalskirata42 yeah thats understandable. personally although I am excited for the game, I am mainly going to wait for a sale, £50 is too expensive tbh. Hopefully the devs fix or improve some of the stuff with post launch support

I love how the game says victory but never mentions the fallen soldiers who died in hiigaras defense plus the 110 million people who died as civilians

Only a few then, compared to over 290 million that died on Kharak in the first game. Least they died on a practical paradise compared to the desert wasteland.

@Bryan lopez , sure, well those original 600,000 (maybe less) Hiigarans that came from the cryo trays to set up on Hiigara were the rich and elites of Kharak so never really had a hard life, 12+ years in cryo sleep, likely had the crew of the original mothership build accommodate before getting busy repopulating to 180m. It’s a hard job but someone had to do it.

Not me rewatching to see the finale lmao and the fact you said 10 years lol here I am 4 years later reaffirming and glad to announce that it was not a decade but a good 4 years later anyways thank you dude for refreshing my mind to continue with the this great series, and its absolutely glorious soundtrack lol.

Development of this game was actually cut short. There is a bunch that was intended that had to be cut out due to Sierra collapsing during its production.

CATACLISAM! yes diffidently play Home world - Cataclisam. personally think it's better than 2, no quite as good as 1 though.

Cataclysm plays weird and has arguably worse graphics than 1 when it first released. Barking Dog studios didn't exactly know what they were doing when making that game.

@Captain Shack , to answer your question Resurgence is the remastered version of Cataclysm, they renamed the title as 'someone' still holds the copyright to it's title, though the master source code was lost they allowed the remastering of the Cataclysm to get the go ahead, as long as it doesn't bear the title Homeworld Cataclysm.

Homeworld 3 is coming around Sept 2022. Gearbox had a fig campaign that raised over $1 million back in sept. From there, they gave themselves 3 years to deliver the game.

That was a costly victory that took over half of the world's population. Considering the resources and infrastructure that the Vaygr still have and what the Hiigarans have lost, even with the help of Sajuuk, there is no way the Hiigarans could hope to win the war in the end.

I honestly don't get that. I made it through the first time with no issue. Everything after the stealth mission and the capture one was pretty much a cakewalk.

You have to play HW Cataclysm! Might have to load up dos box but it can be done. IMHO far better than HW2 probably better than the original!

With how SE is these days, your new rig will likely cost a couple grand no matter what brand you go with. Even if you build your own, which might be cheaper in some cases, will still burn a rather nice hole in your pockets

Homeworld 3 is rumored to come in 2022 but might be delayed because that's a thing that almost always happens!

I wouldn't be so sure of that this early. They have close to 3 years still to develop the game, and a few months ago they raised $1.5 million in their fig campaign. Gearbox should have this down better than when kharak first released. God, I hated how we didn't have the tactical pause in kharak until they patched it.. but maybe they'll do better this time
