Region of Peel - Detectives from the Homicide Bureau have arrested the suspected wanted in connection with a homicide in Brampton.
On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, police responded to an apartment complex near Bovaird Drive and Creditview Road in Brampton for reports of an altercation between two adult males. During the incident, the victim was fatally stabbed, and the suspect fled the scene.
On Friday, May 3, 2024, Andrew Galea, a 49-year-old man of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with:
• Second Degree Murder
He was held for a bail hearing.
