I ride bigger bikes, but I love these 250's I took this one out last Saturday for a quick spin up town, never worry about these little rebels, great machines!

Is it legal to have your license plate mounted vertical? And to the one side? Would cops be pulling me/you over for that one side visual. If that makes sense? Cause if your on one side you dont get to see it. And was curious as to know what the law or cops opinion on this to pull you over for it. Also looking at some utah laws gov, says license plate from the lowest point of the license plate cant be below 12 inches from the ground? Looking to bobber and remove the fender and do a similar mount with the light/license plate and chop my rebel. But want some local info as if your getting any problems with your chopped bikes. Looking sick bro!

Hey man, thanks for dropping by, yeah.... you're probably right with the license plate thing, Ive had Sheriff's right behind me before, well, a lot of us before when were out on rides and what? we've never had a problem, but that being said I have to say do what ever the book tells you right? yeah and were in Utah for sure!

I always tell everyone, nothing says "YOU" more than a bike that you built yourself, anyone can go buy a rebel, and the only difference is the color really....big deal if you ask me, no one has this particular bike out there, no one, and that's what I love about these bikes, they are you on two wheels:) thanks for the comment!

Sorry for the late reply, I only check me emails/messages every couple of days. It's hard to say what it is without being there, but it sounds like more of a hot or ground straight from the battery, check the main fuse to start then just start moving out from there with a tester light or a multi-meter for continuity. sorry i cant help you more.

the sound is pretty good actually, more of like an older triumph if anything. These little machines are like tanks around town tough and reliable for sure, my wife rides this to work every day

Thanks for the comment, yeah the seat is a beast, but it mainly stays in town as my wife likes to ride it to work. The paint job is an "Ivory" if anything...helps with the vintage look:)

Hey, not much really, you just need to figure out how big you wanna go and find the tire you want, get a tech (or yourself) to put it and and get it balanced. If your going to do it yourself, just make sure the white dot on the tire sidewall sits next to the valve on the rim (youtube it) the tire on this bike that you watched was a tire that would or could fit on a Honda Shadow ACE (its a front tire for a ACE)

I appreciate your reply 1000% thanks for taking the time out of your day. If I may ask, is it really that simple? Like is their any conversion that needs to be done at all? Or is it really just as simple as picking a wheel size and tire and putting it on the frame and balancing it on the bike?

Ivan Collazos Ivan Collazos yeah, as long as you don’t plan on changing the stock wheel that it came with... you should be fine changing the tire to a bigger size, now changing the wheel to a bigger size you’ll run into issues, but the tire, yeah. Just ask your local dealer or shop what size you could get away with... like I said mine on this bike would fit a full size ACE

haha! thanks for the comment! not for the faint hearted for sure. these are a "cruise state street" bike for sure, although I did ride it 300 miles in one day along time ago!!
