Personally I'm not a fan of the Amazon carbs... a little part of me dies inside every time i buy a machine that has one on it. Other people feel the same... I also part machines out and consistently get 150 bucks a for a OEM carb even though there are those amazon carbs out there

Absolutely! The easiest way I have found to clean carburetors is to buy them on Amazon.

@@brettleybuilt I guess... but I was able to fix the carb and have it back on the machine the same day. Also, I don't trust cheap Amazon replacements. If the air/ fuel mixture is off you can cause damage to your engine.

Replace the fuel line unless I am misunderstanding. If it's coming from the carb it could be a needle valve or float issue. If you need help understanding the carb then check out my blaster carb video, different machine but same basic concept.

Float is probably stuck. I do prefer removing and cleaning, but you may be able to get it to stop by tapping the Bowl (bottom) of the carburetor. If doing this method I generally tap with the handle of a screwdriver.

Other issue could be an o ring underneath the needle seat (if equipped). I think I mention that in this video, if not I may have it in a blaster carb video

I do have some parts that I dipped in the evaporust and they do have some surface rust on them. But they have been left untreated. Honestly I would probably consider coating the inside of the tank if I did it again but the owner wanted it quickly. I told her to keep it full and a couple years later no complaints.

@@The.Odyssey Ten 4 i had about the same amount of rust & i cleaned mine with gas & rags shaking them around then let dry & used a vacuum it worked pretty well...then a good in-line filter...p.s. I never run it on reserve if I can help it ..its been 3years now thank you for your quick response 👍

I will be posting a short, maybe also a video in the near future of the evaporust on a brake drum. I'm legitimately curious if you say it's as good. I'm thinking about going and grabbing some apple cider vinegar to do a side by side video.

Hi Carter and thanks for reaching out. Yes, the carburator can keep your engine from running or make it run poorly. I would definitely check the fuel flow from the tank like I show in the video first as that is the easiest thing to diagnose. After you ensure that is good or that is fixed if you still experience running issues I would then dig into the carburator. So I have used both just plain water or add a small amount of soap. And I have used Evaporust. Both work, and don't damage anything.

Take off ur seat and on the gas take where the head of the seat is there is a bolt undo that bolt with a socket and boom it's off
