I used to have an Avalon 2016 touring,, I never used to believe my mates when they tell me about the accord and how fun it is to drive , ,now that I have sold my Avalon, I tend to say I wish I had enjoyed all of that time experiencing to drive the accord ,, gosh it never fails to put a smile on my face , especially when turning that sport mod on 💨💨💨💨💨
@@Remorsefullyhumble If the idea is to keep the car for the long run, Yes. Its worth it. I had a 2021 Accord 1.5T and put 20,000miles with no problems. But the 1.5T are blowing head gaskets at 50-70k miles you can look it up. The 2.0T is just overall better. It has the 10speed tranny with that 2.0T engine makes it a beast.
I have a '21 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T in the same Sonic Gray Pearl as yours. You should go into your settings and change the instrument panel display to always show the tachometer. Then when you change it to audio or phone or whatever else, the tach stays on in the background. I wanted to get a '23 Accord 2.0T only to realize that Honda abandoned performance with the new generation. Will keep my '21 for a good while. So much fun to drive.
Cool ride man. Was really hoping Honda was going to stick with this drivetrain so I could upgrade when my civic is toast, which is still 4-5 years away. Crossing my fingers for Mazda to put their new turbo inline 6 into a sedan, or possibly some 6 cylinder Skyactiv X motor 🙃
2022 was the last year for the Accord 2.0T Touring, Honda went Green/Eco for 2023. My wife has the 2022 Honda Civic Touring 1.5L Turbo with Vtec. She had it for 5 months now and driven less than 700 miles. To-from work commute for her is 6 miles round trip. I love the new interior design and the exterior body style ...I call it the "Baby Accord". I couldn't get a 2022 Accord 2.0T as only ones available were out of state dealerships and said only sell to local residents. I found one roughly 100 miles from me, but it was pre-sold. I now drive a 2023 Toyota Camry XSE V6 with all 3 Option Packages and some accessories. It falls a tad short on handling and seat comfort plus no wireless Car Play and Android Auto but I have managed to get around the wireless stuff and now have it. I've also included some TRD mods, so now it looks sportier. I only wished it had a manual 6 speed trans. I paid $44K whereas the 2022 Accord 2.0T would been like $40K. You get what you can find these days with Dealerships having an allocation list which most are already Pre-Sold. It's 1st come, 1st served so don't hesitate too long as the car you want could be gone tomorrow. Do your research, decide on 3 cars you desire and rank them. If the 1st one not available, go to #2, then #3 or Stop at #1 and wait for one to appear. Likely it will be a Certified Used that is priced less or more than a New Car of same type/model. Have family or friends working at a dealership ... you've increased your chances of getting that car as they are more informed to upcoming invoices. You can really piss off thieves by re-routing a main relay out of the control panel under the hood and placing it hidden inside the car with a new socket-connector. They may find the relay in your car laying in a tray if you did not bring it in the house, so they go put the relay back where it belongs only to discover the car still won't run. Dah! the wiring isn't there, I've rerouted it you fool. Gotcha! The only other way to steal your car is to have it towed or try carrying it out.
Nice care. It would take me some getting used to buttons instead stick shift, which is where i like to rest my hands when I'm trying to style and profile. lol
I had a g37 before this, and I would honestly say this, it is faster on the top end than the g37 and amenities wise and smoothness of ride this car has been superior as well!
@@according2alec572 That is exactly how much i paid too $36k. I have the same exact car. 2022. Same color. Its an awesome car. Crazy that it is considered a family sedan but it does not feel like it is at all lol. It feels more like a performance sports car then a family sedan. Maybe its cause the car is long and roomy they call it that. But it definitely does not feel like a family sedan. What do you think?
From everything I’ve seen the accord is quicker in a straight line and handles better. I’d be more comfortable with long term reliability with the Toyota though since its an NA v6
