Hi! Need your help. My 1998 Accord is same like yours. Problem is, if I plug out tps sensore my car works on otomatic gear d3 or d4 also 1 and 2 but speed stop on 70 km/h dont get over 2200 rpm. When I plug in tps sensore my car use only gear 2 and it gas and take back gas. Can be another problem? Some said it can be selenoid on otomatic transmission. It may Km sensore damaged. They Said like this. Thanks a lot.
I've got a 94 accord. When I calibrate my new tps to .5 volts, it won't let me shift out of park. The shift lock doesn't work. No click when stepping in brake. At first I thought I blew a fuse, and searched and searched, until, long story short, it has to be closer to 1 volt for my car to be able to shift out of park. I confirmed this w my old tps, as well as my new. What gives? Why is this?
Hey phillip .question what position should the idle air screw be on the throttle body the one next to the map sensor.or do u have a video on the proper adjustment.thanks.
Just subbed. Thanks for this. I have a 01 accord v6 that is bucking when accelerating and rough idle under a load. Is this a good place for me to start? Thanks for this!
Can you please give me some advice on my idle issue? Have a b20b in 99 model ek having a lot of up an down idle..change tps, map, oxygen,ECU,fast idle changed, iacv changed but problem still remains..however when I block of the iacv an I block the bottom hole in the throttle body which goes bk to the fast idle my problem goes away..how can I solve this problem? I tried blocking off the fast idle just the air ports but still it didn’t work the only way my problem is goin away is when I have the iacv blocked off an I place my finger to cover the lower air port inside the throttle body.. can you give some advice please 🙏 thank you or any one in the comments
@@hondaresource yes I do. Will fuel cause a problem like this also? Just today while driving check light came up an I cudn’t cross 40 the car was misfiring.. when I switched off the check light went away.also will a break in my harness cause this problem? Thank you 🙏 so much for your reply buddy..
I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX. Have had some idling issues and noticed it still had the factory TPS with the break away screws. I decided to change the TPS which obviously requires removing the throttle body. Removed the body today, changed the sensor, calibrated it within specs, and now it won't start? Cranks... but won't start. Tried the old sensor, checked fuses, TPS and MAP connections... nothing. I do not believe a signal is being sent to allow the fuel injectors to deliver fuel. Is there an ECU reset or otherwise? Cheers.
@@KevinKarlStudio not really any "reset". You can disconnect the battery and it will reset everything though. Did you make sure it getting spark? And is your fuel pump priming?
@@hondaresource After checking out some other things this morning I disconnected the MAP sensor... and it started. I guess it was time. Replaced and good to go. And BTW... Listening for the fuel pump spin up and checking for spark/ fuel pressure were on the short list this morning. Cheers.
