Haha.. too bad they don't teach that in high school anymore... Especially the automotive part. It wasn't even a thing when I was in highschool and I graduated in 2002.
I definitely will... After next weekend I'll probably be doing one on changing the rocker cover gaskets... I already have one on adjusting the valves so for time sake I probably won't go into the details like I normally do till I get to the rocker cover.. I'll just reference everyone to go to the otger video for torque specs and sizes
Nice work, as always! I can't say I have the RIGHT way to remove the center stand springs, but I can tell you a way that I have used on the Jiffy stand on my bike. I heard about the "penny method" and it works great! When your spring is in the stretched position, insert pennies or washers or whatever fits between each coil in the spring. If you need to, wrap some tape or something similar around the spring to hold the pennies or whatever you use in place so that they don't just fall out, and when you raise the center stand, which releases the spring pressure, the spring is now held in its longer, extended position with little or no tension on it, since the pennies or whatever spacers are keeping the spring stretched. When you put the spring back on and lower the center stand, then the spring is stretched and installed, so just take the pennies out, and Bob's your uncle!
Thank you Andy. I enjoy it for sure. You got your camera ready to start of your RU-vid channel right? I mean you will blow up big time while your there at Sturgis filming around
