Друг, спасибо за отзор. Всё очень понятно. Одно ты только не упомянул, какой вес загрузки мотоцикла и в каких условиях ты предпологаешь применить эти настройки. Удачи на дорогах и в жизни.

Thanks for posting. It would be useful (for people like me) to be taught the desired results - the reason - for each suspension adjustment. IE: For smother ride on bumpy roads, the required adjustment = ? / For more control on gravel, the required adjustment = ?

PRO tip: use some electric sticky tape around the aluminium spring preload screw, thank me later not to damage the nice color paint, avoid funny questions when selling the bike, why are the screw-s so worn? use bit socket, make a mark with sharpie for 1 turn. thank me later.

you keep calling the rebound screw "pre-load", that's wrong

AND called rebound adjuster on shock compression. Guy clearly doesn't know what he talks aboot and unnecessarily confuse people/teach wrong things. It takes fucking 5 minutes to google AT manual and find all proper info. Take down this video please, its only doing harm than helping

Great Video mate, I didn't even know that you could do that, I recently put on the lone rider panniers (semi rigid) and installed as well the rack (obviously) what should I do in order to have the right setup. I don't think the front it has been affected but definitely the rear suspension has sadly changed indeed when I hit bumps it feels different. Any suggestion? Thank you

You would need to adjust your suspension to accommodate extra weight so set your suspension to a "hard" setting. Meaning righty tighty setting. You'll probably need to start from zero, so lefty loosy your rear suspension all the way down and then righty tighty to all the way up. Do that on both rear suspension setting points. Now you establish how many turns it takes to go from full low settings (zero) to the full highest setting and then find a balance. For example if you lefty loosy all the way down then go righty tighty to all the way up, you get 15 turns or clicks. To accommodate your suspension with load I would set up my suspicion to 9 or 10 clicks. Hope that makes sense.

Afrca twin 2017 - 45mm inverted telescopic fork; 9.06 in. travel Africa twin 2016 - Inverted Showa® 45mm fork w/ 8.0 in. travel; adjustable compression, rebound damping & hydraulic adjustable preload good morning, does this data above mean that the AT2016 has a lower suspension than the AT 2017? what are the differences between them. AT 2016 and AT 2017? biker greeting Miroslav

Thanks my friend but you cant tell us to turn bolt to left or right. You should tell clockwise or counterclockwise. Greetings from Türkiye.

You know you could just look up the number of turns for each adjustment screw in the manual, right?

Yes, but some people like me, learn by watching rather than reading. It's a preference for some. 👍

If I do this, will nose dive not work?
@Captain_Tipsy

Depends how stiff you setup. I guess, if your suspension is hard maybe it won't nose dive as much.

Im reporting this for misinformation hopefully itll be taken down. I know u probably had good intentions but thats not enough. You cant just teach people what you "think" is right. Especially in this age where you can find free manual online in 3 minutes this is unacceptable
