OEM carb is the way to go. The cheap Chinese ones cause more headaches. I learned that the hard way on old bikes.

Yes they do work for a while but when they fail we start looking for other problems telling ourselves that it cant be a fuel issue as its a new carb. Great looking 90 by the way. What year is it?

i have a tenner which says strip and clean the original carb, and it will be fine. TENNER on it m8

Maybe I will and maybe it will, I'll then have a fully working original carb to go with the original engine. Keep your tenner.
