Haha, the problem with the pink is it’s a candy, dye, it would be near impossible to get an even colour on it as I would have to go at it as to many different angles 🙈 Tbh anything will be better that red 🤣
Amazing vision to turn a Hornet into such a beautiful bike, nice one. So many wouldn't have taken the time to smooth over the graphics. You might not release much but when you do it's quality.

I think either white or black for the spring. White would make it stand out and would pick up the white text, however black would make it blend into the background. I'm swaying towards it being black so it doesn't compete with pink. Edit: I forgot to say, it's looking really good.
3M fast cut Sid, ever time, I did a bonnet for an Aston the other day in celly, works great on that too 👍🏻👍🏻 Then finish it with 3M finesse Sponge mop, that’s my go to ever time 👍🏻
I'd guess you are filming some bits with your phone as you would if taking a selfie, so that you can see what you're filming, that's why the image is backwards/mirrored. In you phone camera setting you've probably got an option to flip the image when it's saved, look for the setting to saved selfies as previewed and deselect it.
I use 2k all the time, 1k is ok, it will flat nice and polish nice but you have to be careful, don’t spill anything on it! You also have to look after it more, if you have a spray gun and you’re not doing too much I’d just use 2k, what are you doing Ian?
@Dustmonkeycreations just a tank and tail. I've done a few rattle can jobs over the years and this year splashed out on a gun and compressor. Nothing fancy just a single colour but was concerned about the risk of 2k paints at home. I could give it to a shop as I'm certain they would do a better job but that kind of defeats the point of the project. I know it won't be pro but I want to do as much myself as possible. Maybe I do 1k on the tail and 2k on the tank where I may get petrol spilled.
