Would be good for you to post the link of yours , as i got what looks identical , but the fit was shit , brake 30 mins to fit and the clutch over an hour with lots of filing extra metal away as so the bolt would align , however the finished install was good and works well with good fit and no rattle , BUT not even remotely as fast and smoothe as yours
I just got the same EXACT shift levers (except mine are all black with a red adjuster). "H250" and "F25" are the item stamps on the levers. :) I'm going to try to install them tonight...(pray for me please). :)
Installed (took less than 30 min)! Fantastic levers for the price. Smooth, improved looks, and good feel. Get ya some of these levers for your motorcycle from Ebay if you want an upgrade from stock levers and you don't want to spend a bunch of money you don't need to.
Well, the lube was not "absolutely necessary", but I do believe it makes the mechanism smoother when pressing the levers. I would recommend using lube or an all purpose grease if possible. Oh no, do you mean you tried to install your levers and they didn't work? Do you mean you press the lever in, and then it will not go back to the original position afterwards?
Great work! I added it to my playlist. What can I do (sorry for my english) if it's 'too far away' from my handlebars so that i can't reach it with my fingers? Is it adjustable? Is there a difference by using it so that they are easier to pull?
I would stay away from CNC levers I bought two sets for my two motorcycles both sets of brakes and clutch lever were not a good fit for both bikes. I reviewed my order to make sure I order the right one. The seller confirmed the part for each bike. Each lever was missing between 1mm and 1.3 mm which is a lot and will be loose and wiggle and rattle a lot. I returned them right
Hey there! I'm going to replace my OEM levers as soon as my order comes in. I'm building up my tool kit as I learn to work on my bike. What size tools did you use on the bolts?
I bought a used '15 CB500, and the aftermarket clutch lever is loose and really far to reach out for. The click adjustment is all the way to make it close.
filoIII honestly these are 20 bucks on eBay, just buy these, but id recommend going to a dealership with it and seeing what they can do. also they may have some you can test out first to see if they'll work
I just ordered a pair of brake and clutch shorty levers off eBay and it was $20.47 and they are the same levers in this video. I can't wait to install them next week! I have faith I can install them after watching this video.
Thanks for the heads ups my friend. In the video, the guy measures about 2 inches of play and I assume there will be some after they are installed (hopefully the 5 adjustment feature will help). My stocked clutched lever on my 2015 Honda CB500F have about the same about of wiggle/play as the one in the video (about 2 inches), so hopefully I can get the same feel after installing the new ones. The shorter levers is going to be nice because I'm a rider than likes to keep 2 fingers on the levers most of the time and the rest of the lever feels like a banana at the end of my fingers (I'm just kiddin...but you know what I mean . I really love my 2015 Honda CB500F! Take care bud, I'll let ya know how they turn out. I should get them this week and install them by the New Year.
Szia, Endre a nevem.Nagyon szuper munkát végeztél a két karral,rendeltem én is mivel nagyon rövidek az ujjaim,igy hát ideálisnak találtam mivel a gyáriaknál a kuplung kar sajnos nem állítható. Minden szép csak nem épp a legjobb sajnos. A gondom vele az hogy ha közelebbre állítom,pl. a 3-fokozatra (ami az én rövid ujjaimnak meg felelne) akkor sajnos nem húzza be annyira a kuplungot hogy a kerék meg ne mozduljon,vagyis nem kapcsolódik el teljesen a hajtómű. Most már lenne egy pár kérdésem,mivel minden féle beállítással próbálkoztam,(fent,lent) lehet ezt a kuplung kart ugy állítani hogy működjön és közelebb kerüljön a kormány szarvához vagy nem...? Nekem sajnos nem sikerült. Jol jönne egy két tipp esetleg. Köszönöm előre is!
