You ever try to adjust the shock preload after it's fitted? how the hell do they expect you to be able to adjust it with the little straight rod they supply? thanks.
@@CodgerBiker I am fine. Have to ride little bikes to get my feet down. The TALARIA Sting R (MX4) is fine for the village, the HONDA for longer tours. Having much fun with both. My KTM wanted to see the repair shop too many times, now I am free of Pierer Mobility bikes 😂

Thanks for watching. Not ridden it yet, but install is a 2 person job, that much I can say. Just 4 bolts but quite tricky. Let's hope it works. Give me a few weeks 👍
I bought the same shock for my 500F. It wasn't good, while the rebound was adjustable, it severely lacked compression damping, unadjustable! I had to pay to get it revalved. I therefore spent more than the cost of the fully adjustable YSS shock. Lesson learnt. Good luck
Yes it's always a gamble to buy 'cheap'. Weather here is very poor just now so I will have to wait to test it. As I said, time will tell if it is an improvement for my riding. 👍
A long shot, but could you link the suspension in the comments or in the description? It´s very difficult to order parts in Norway as there is not much choice, so I have to order international and it would help a lot! :)
CB, I have to agree with DrJ’s question at the end of the clip “Are you getting some sort of perverse pleasure out of that?”. In your previous video, by your own admission you were chasing a “Hores Box”. You can see how rumours start. 😂😂😂
You're preaching to the converted. Dave Doom & Kalamity Ken built our reputations on the TMJ concept so know exactly how hard it can be and how long it can take. Especially as at some point you will need to take some load off the spring to get it to fit in. You & DrJ will have your work cut out. I'm going on to Paddy Power now to put a 10p bet on that this will be a proper TMJ. 😱😱
