First ridden by Visordown in early 2020, the latest generation #proved #Honda #Fireblade proved to be a weapon on the #MotoGP circuit of #Losail. Out on the road though, its peaky delivery and track-focused ergonimics made it a slightly less favourable machine.
To help combat this, Honda has evolved the Fireblade for 2022, boosting mid-range torque, and altering the gearing overall and tweaking the first two ratios.
To find out if the changes really had helped sharpen the 'Blade for this year, we've ridden it on road and track, testing it in all conditions.

I’ve had time to learn this bike and set-up the suspension and let me tell you it is an Engineering masterpiece! I don’t think I’ve ever ridden a bike with a better chassis and suspension set-up. The engine is absolutely thrilling especially above 10,000RPM. Incredible!

Hooooweee that bike on the right looks 10x better than the new fireblade. Like, the new one looks sharp, but those big eyes and windscreen of the old just look incredible 😮

On the new bike, the bright blue and basic red looks like a child's toy. The old blurple fade is so much better.

First bike was CBR600 F2. Loved that bike. I’d look at a CBR1000 or Fireblade but I’m betting first gear still goes to 90mph so you never really get to rev it out and hear it scream.

Still no deliveries yet in USA..they keep pushing back the date every couple of months.. latest is now end of November.. good luck with those tires at winter temperatures… thanks Honda!
