I own a 5th gen. Honda city from august 22. Previous car used were dezire zdi and alto etc. Honda is superb in mileage, comfort and power. I get around 21 km/ ltr. On highways, around 15 in delhi traffic. For 1500 cc car, its an superb performance and value for money.

Yes buying 4th gen Honda City is always a worthy decision as it is the most loved version or gen of Honda City. But the smart decision would be buying an used 4 gen Honda City. As the there is already a 5th Gen City so your new 4gen will always give you the feel of old version. So, it's better to buy 4th gen used Honda City and this will also save your lot of money.

Hi, I think you will get 1st owner Honda city of 2011-2013 petrol. This car is 2nd owner and you will become 3rd owner so not worth for 2.8 lac.... better to find 1st owner car. And whichever you select, do proper check up and car maintenance history
Friends, Honda city is gem of mileage, reliability & long trusting brands. My City diesel gives mileage of 30 plus in highways many a times with average speed of 80 & 18 plus in city with light foot acceleration. The maintaince is less than alto i would say in past 10 years. So just trust & pick your honda & enjoy life. Yes, honda city YOKOHAMA TYRES & NITROGEN GOES 80000 km with out any issue.. Braking is simply awesome..
Sir, recently I drove my Honda city Ivtec petrol 2018 model on yamuna express Highway, i got Max milage 23.4 km per litre. Honda city is an amazing car.
In city traffic, I get 9-10 kmpl only. Highway mileage is pretty good. 16 to 18 kmpl depending upon the driving conditions. Also, I have observed the car giving good mileage if the destination terrain altitude is lower than the place where you start. Have even got 20kmpl one way and with same driving conditions, the return journey gave only 16kmpl. Mileage also reduces with more luggage. Maintaining healthy RPM below 3000 gives good mileage
I would advise you to get better milage, full servicing , especially change gear oil, engine oil , filter and coolant. Then try to check the mileage of the car, I'm sure mileage will increase and performance gets better
Honda City 4th Gen ki 2 types ki service hoti hai.... Minor and Major. But average service cost is 5k to 7k for general service only. And Its not always about light foot / feather foot driving.... It is also about selection of proper gearing at proper RPM / Speed. Another way is managing acceleration paddle response OR foot response ... that is whenever possible remove foot from acceleration paddle and use vehicles momentum only for short distances.. for example, if you see signal ahead or vehicle ahead, then stop accelerating timely, and let vehicle reach near to that signal/ vehicle by momentum
Agar bahot heavy traffic hoga to thik hai.. because critical traffic Mai muze bhi 12-14 aata hai. Lekin agar normal roads par 10 ka mileage hai to kuch to gadbad hai
