Personally, I prefer the civic, mainly because it provides way more mechanical grip. It just feels more premium. Don’t get me wrong, the Corolla is a good car, it has better options available, but I prefer the civic over the corolla

You missed the rear A/C Vents of Civic, as well as the bump in the middle of the rear floor, and the boot space wasn't mentioned either, including mileage and fuel capacity. Other than that, thumbs up.

What you completely missed mentioning and surprisingly no one picks up is the fact that the Toyota is much much smaller from the inside and it's rear seat head clearance is less. I am 6 ft tall and my head touches the roof in any variant of Corolla I have sat in. Wherease that isn't the case in civic. Also the knee room is reasonably more in civic.

A feature you missed was rear AC vent for Civic, something that is missing on Grande

The Toyota Corolla Facelift 2018 in other countries have 4/6 Airbags and Toyota's “Toyota Safety Sense" which includes a lot of safety features. e.g. Blind Spot Monitoring (BSP), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Radar Cruise Control (RCC), Pedestrian Warning Assist (PWA), 2 Front Airbags (Driver and Passenger), Driver and Passenger side Knee Airbags (Higher Trims only), 2 Curtain Airbags, ABS, Electronic Hand/Parking Brake. And in Pakistan they just take it out of the car leaving 1 Front Airbag for driver only (2 Airbags on Higher Trims) and (NO AIRBAGS ON Lower TRIMS) and they increase the price by 1-3lakh (100,000 - 300,000)

Some points missed: 1) Grande has rain sensors which civic does not have. 2) Grande has auto adjustable mirrors upon reversing which civic does not have. 3) Grande's side mirrors retract(fold unfold) upon locking/unlocking the car. For civic you have to do it with a push button. 4) Civic has lock/unlock sensors on both doors. Grande has it only on the driver's side. 5) Civic can be switched on and off using remote. ( only turbo variant) 6) Civic has rear ac vents.

There are many things which are not present in civic but present in corolla . Being a toyota lover , i feel i should mention extra features of grande here . Corolla comes with rain sensors which turn on , off and change the speed of wipers automatically . Grande’s led headlamp is adaptive which adjust the light automatically according to the road . Grande has reverse linked side mirrors which change the adjustment of side mirror on reverse gear . Moreover , grande has foldable side mirror which automatically fold and unfold on locking and unlocking the car. Grande has modern style smart entry while civic has smart entry which is operated by button and thats coming from years . Grande has charging port for rear passengers separately . Grande comes with 7 lights which are installed roof : two front study lamp , two sun shades’s lamps , 2 rear study lamps and one door lamp. Grande shows after start average , after refuel average and after reset average on meter while civic only shows only after reset average . Trunk tray mat which keeps the trunk clean . Grande has sun glasses holder . Grande has 8 to 10glass holders while civic lacks in it. Grande has better acceleration , better fuel economy . Spare tyre of grande is imported as well. Grande has 6 speakers . Grande has led light in glove box which helps to find things in darkness . Grande’s has LCD on meter which shows all notifications of car like low fuel , overspeeding of car , door open , trunk open , location and etc and has 4 colours and everything can be operated by the buttons on steering while civic only has small screen. Grande has 7 speed forward gear but civic has 5 speed forward gear. Grande has sports mode . Grande has side skirts . Detail of features of grande which are briefly mentioned in video and civic does not have : back reclining and adjustable seat which can be completely fold to increase the trunk size , compact sized LCD and leather seats , paddle shifters , front and rear camera , grande has imported tyres of Yokohama , grande has built in tracker which track every activity of the car by an app like live speed on road, overspeed , current location , if engine parks on idle so it tells how many minutes engine parked on idle mode , it notifies when the engine starts and stops , it warns when harsh break is applied , it notifies about service due , it notifies when fuel is low . It gives complete trip history like the route and even in which lane the car travelled on road . It estimates the fuel cost , average speed , the time of trip and distance travelled of the car of every trip at the end of trip when engine switches off . Grande has better road clearance .

Civic quality is far better then corolla I have both tbh but corolla is good for Pakistani roads with good suspension.

Civic is entertaining and Corolla is satisfaction.

Great comparison .u forgot to mention the difference of auto vipers , auto folding rear view mirrors and auto adjustment of rear view mirror option when u put it into reverse gear . these all are present in grande but not in civic . Road stability wise civic is much superior .

Great review once again, just one thing that please put some light on current drop in sale of 1700 cc plus cars due to FED. Civic sales have dropped significantly in last 30 days due to price hike. Also when the fed will be waived

Sir you have miss to discuss about the rear suspension of civic which is indepent like Mercedez and BMW which is the most safest in high speed and civic has great plus point from this point view because corolla don't have indepent suspension from the year 2002

The “Electronic Handbrake" has a chance of breaking easily rather than the “Manual Handbrake" which has nearly 0% chances of breaking.

How fuel efficient are they ?

I think where grande wins easily is in it long term reliability civic looked like a gem to me when it came out but the problems that it had such a Steering Rack issue, Overcharging battery, Suspension issue, Overheating issue. While grande , altis 1.6 , gli , xli came with 0 problems.

Features wise Grande might be better but looks wise and aesthetically Civic is a step ahead

I am really amaze sunil bhai. I have Honda civic 2009 in dubai. I can bend my rear Seat. I have 8 airbags in my car. I have pedal shifter as well. Cruise control and parking censors are in my car. auto climate control is also in it. VSA vehicle stability assistant.

Drove Toyota Corolla GLI 1.3 automatical for 3 years and now driving Honda civic oriel 1.8. So if you compare grande and civic probably both are very good. Corolla has some more space inside probably due a bit higher roof and flat floor at rear seat area. I like more interior of Civic, but it’s a matter of choice and preferences. One more thing to be mentioned is the platform of civic is harder that’s why civic feels solid while driving and you feel when you close doors. But Toyota has already launched new Corolla on new TGNA platform which around 40% more hard and has independent rear wheels suspension and so it drives more sporty, unfortunately in Pakistan Toyota launches new models very late though their sales are very good.
