Oh wow I just realized this video is only 8hrs old. I’ve been watching FD2 videos all day and most are pretty old now. Love the car dude! The video was also nice and relaxing to watch. Keep up the good work!
Not only is this channel very entertaining, it's engaging. I've learned quite a bit about how to install, remove and adjust my parts without damaging anything. Much love guys. You really are the best of what the community has to offer.
Personally I believe the WeatherTech Rain Visors are better looking as compared to Honda or Mugen kits. This is largely because they fit into the window glass channel, as opposed to attaching to the outer window frame via 3M Tape.
the EM1 CMC was a huge mistake imo, we will see how it will hold up but the CMC rod is a completely different length than the FA chassis and will start to develop a click every time you press in the clutch. Shoulda have stuck with a new FD2 CMC or an EM2 as people suggest but never EM1, it will click.
Over a decade on this platform I can guarantee that the Em1 CMC isn't the "fix" for that high rpm lockout. To fix the lockout you have to adjust the clutch pedal correctly from inside the cabin, my 2010 fa5 has zero lock out, new fluids and its set. The delay valve on the stock CMC is needed for these cars and reduces synchronizer wear on the transmission.
Red dots lined up with the valve stems....yes! The FD2 is one of my fav of the CTRs but I don't like how you have to take apart the cowl to work on the car on those 8th gens. Awesome stuff as always AHCG!
Love the content, fd2 has always been my dream type r. How did this one get into the States since it's not 25 years old yet? Is it fully registered and can be driven on the road legally? I know it's a long shot but I'm looking into importing one of these, any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
@@ahcgarage I hope you guys can also help me to buy my dream car for my upcoming birthday this coming Dec 30,2021 I have money to save so it won't be enough to buy my dream car because I'm still short of 280,000 Thousand Pesos. (5,561 US Dollar) to buy my dream car even it's stock honda civic fd. but it's ok because I'm turning 21, I want this birthday of mine to be memorable so that you can also be part of my dream car so I hope and begging you guys please to help me 😥🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Honda America screw us by not offering these @ limited production here in the states. I like the Factory over the Mugen Visor....More classy Oem feel. Part# for Shift boot n knob?
19:07 That paint seems to be contaminated. It will be a lot better after atleast having the iron removed, and being clay barred, washed...and spray waxed.
Hello! I love your work and how you edit your videos and explain all the small details. I have 8th gen Type-R FN2 (EUDM) with a K20Z4 (201 hp) and i wanna do the clutch master cylinder upgrade. Can you please share the EM1 OEM part number? Thank you and keep up the good work!
Thanks very much for watching. That's a great collection you got. We have the part number in the description but here you go: Clutch Master Cylinder 46920-S04-A01
you can import just about anything... question is can you get it registered and insured.. answer is probably not... its for car collector purposes not driver vehicle.
Great video. My FD2 just has the squeaking noise while I push down the clutch, I have lubricated the clutch spring and not help. So should I replace/repair this clutch cylinder? Any comments? Many thanks
That's all depends where the noise is coming from. If you have isolate the noise and and it's coming from the pedal, look into the master cylinder. We have also seen clutch pressure plate and un-lube release bearing can make squeaking sounds as well
It's Mügen it's gotta be better right?, Cuz it cost a gazillion dollars. Who am I kidding...I'm a sucker for Mügen, irregardless of it's inflated pricetags.
I don’t even have car yet, but your video is so satisfying and relaxing! ❤ I intent to buy civic fd (not r 😂) as my 1st car and mod it like the fd2r mugen, huhu 😊
Props to you guys for aligning the "H" emblem center cap with the valve stem. All Hondas come like that from factory and most people seem to mess it up when putting center caps back on. Good attention to detail by you guys!
