Personally didnt even need to dig the fuse out, broke the fuse casing and the component wires protude enough to soilder another on at 90°. Hot glue to seal.
good video as usual dude, I take it you swapped/sold the corolla for the FN2? how are you getting on with it?, i had one for a year but found mine a bit uncomfortable on long journeys so sadly it had to go, absolutely cracking car though pal.
Still have the Corolla Mick, the intention is to move the Corolla on long term. Deciding on that at the moment. The Corolla is on coilovers, so the civic isn't much worse. But you are right the Civic is pretty harsh. Will do a comparison video at some point 😉
@@ModorFix for me it wasn’t even the harsh ride, most of my cars are on coil overs usually lol so you get used to that as you know it was the seat, it really triggered an old injury when I broke my back in a bike accident causing me horrific lower back and leg pain/numbness. It’s that car that made me first look at getting an auto lol
@@mickbennett1792 interesting. Was it an FN2? Quite like my seats. Hold you in nice. Apart from sitting a bit high I don't have a problem with comfort.
Great vid thanks l ordered the replacement solenoid which is only 2 quid but my SOD doesnt have the little yellow solenoid in so this means Honda originally made the mirror without one which was crap like mine then when they realised this they replaced it with your kind which was just as crap WTF Honda. They should be ashamed and embarrassed considering all the TLC we lavish on our man toys and this is what we get.
@@ModorFix Thanks for your reply; yes the resister if that's what the little yellow thing is lm not very electrically minded. But my question now is will the £20 replacement SOD solve my silly mirror problem which is so bad it goes all the way forward lol. Or will the unit not recognize the new part. It all looks very dusty and original in there so l dont think it has been replaced if it was it would probably have the resister in it right?
@jenseninterceptor3416 the resistor sticks out of the box if that makes sense. It was the bit I was trying to dig out. The new SOD has a resistor built in (not visible). Buy one of eBay for circa 20 quid, should be a straight swap and work perfectly.
