I’ve legit had multiple honda dealerships tell me I’m crazy over my issues with Bluetooth in my car. Hopefully this will fix my issue! Thanks for a great video
TIP: Make sure it shows "AUDIO OFF" then press 1 and hold, then 6 and hold, then power. It will come up every time. I had trouble getting in reliably holding 1 and 6 at the same time, but the sequence works. This process only allows me to pair one phone to the system from what I can tell, but that's better than nothing.

In my wife's 2019 civic, I had to press and hold 1, 6, and the power button quickly in that specific order to get the menu to appear. Holding 1 & 6, waiting, then pressing the power button didn't work. Just adding this in case anyone else has the same problem

Ah thank you! Car wouldn't pair with phone after i had to reset my phone. It showed greyed out on car. I deleted tge phone, and BAM..it repaired! ❤❤❤, couldn't figure it out without you
I tried this on my 2016 Honda civic and it still won’t connect. It gives me a code to pair with my phone but it still doesn’t appear on my Bluetooth options🥺
Oh I know! I sat in a damn Sam's Club parking lot for almost 20 minutes trying to solve my damn connection issue. LOL once I did I recorded it to make sure no other person suffers the humiliation I faced that day.
My 2017 bluetooth screws up all the time....I had deleted it from the system and start over again, that was the only way I could get mine to work but it keeps screwing up... Sometimes it will fix itself when you turn the car on and off again and sometimes it will just keep doing it over and over again you no matter how many times you restart your car and reset everything. I'll give this a go. Thanks for the advice!
How do u fix car bluetooth that connects/disconnects randomly. Like for instance i could be listening to a song but as soon as the song stops or i pause , 10 seconds pass then my phone disconnects from bluetooth

ok so i did it and it says connected on my phone and i can here calls on the speakers in the car but it still says no device connected in the car. and when i play my music it doesn’t work so i’m confused on why it works for phone calls and not music
Thats your Bluetooth set up I n the phone. My damn phones doing that right now with my wireless earbuds and its irritating the $hit out of me roght now as my phone does this every time my batteries die on them.
Okay did all presented connected phone blue tooth but now the car radio screen says 'please update file' bluetooth not playing although connected and cant get this message off the screen
I have a 2015 cr-v, very similar radio but this button combo only takes me to a screen that says “A-Diag Diag” and nothing else. I also got in another screen that said “A-Diag Key” which is a key diagnostics, it just confirms key presses. 🙁
The display used to show everything in my civic but now for some reason only top line shows whats going on. Rest of the display stay black, any way to fix this?

@@denisetapia943 press the button in the top left corner that has the sun and moon display on it. It's for adjusting your brightness on the screen. Press it a few times and watch what it does to your screen. It will change the display if you press it more then once or twice. Just change it back to where you want it.
