Man the thing some people will never understand is the bond with a car. You come so far that it really doesn’t matter the platform sometimes. But hey this is your life and you can build what you want and it’s all worth it because a build shares a lot about you as a person. I’d be rich if I got back all the money I “wasted” on cars but it was all worth it.
Dude this is so relatable... many of my family members and friends always had comments on why i would spend money on my VW golf mk1.. and like you say its not about the money its about the fun and memories made along the way.. i had that car for 5 years NA and boosted.. Daily and parked in the driveway for months.. And honestly i cant wait to do a build again

i love driving my gs-r i'm doing a full progession build so i can experience it from stock to all out. is spicy n/a high comp high rom currently but i have a ramey sleeved b18c1 block, eagle crank, forged internals, turbo kit fuel system etc in a pile in my basement waiting for me to get bored of n/a
I built my boosted EM1 3 years ago and absolutely love it and like you its 💯 percent worth it! Alot of ppl hate on civics but of ypu build it right and with pride they become monsters! Also order my shirt last week and cant wait to get it.

My project car is waiting for me and i hope to build my turbo B-series once but I have not the money at this moment or time and you had so many issues trough the years that I thought can a Turbo B-series be reliable for the streets/circuit? Cool trip down memory lane...im only about a year in on the channel so ive never seen some of this. I agree, Honda Civic are almost always worth the money. I bought mine back recently, 21 years to the day after i originally bought it. Ive dumped A LOT in the car over the years. The enjoyment is always worth it!
I love my Honda civic! Its been such a reliable car for the 23 years I have owned it. Even with it boosted for the last 7 years she just keeps going and going!
It is a waste of money. and i don't regret it one bit. im chasing that low 8 and am continuing to put my money into it. its not an sound investment, the ROI is not there. however to put a non-monetary value on it, the smiles, friends and feeling are priceless.
Bro i own 3 mitsubishi eclipses i love them ive owned them since high school all of my friends are v8 guys but i love my turbo 4 cylinders. I love hondas also thats why i watch, i need that motivation.
bro i buy a rhd eg8 last year 9k but i new i wanted a fully built one so i sell all the parts its has then i put 15k in turbo setup 😂 and i have a toyota soarer 1jz but honda are not the same they are good to work on and lots lots of video like you ❤ now i have 285whp on 7psi with no vtec cause my skunk2 pro 2 are not good for turbo setup going back with typer cams and my 5858 pte turbo will make a nice 340 to 380whp
Watching this video is making me relive all the times I blew up my turbo d16 civic. So much fun but so much pain. I've moved on from civics and now have a k swapped MR2 Spyder!
I love it when I see hard work and dedication pay off. The only people that say "building a Honda civic is a waste of money" are the people that drove a civic with a good amount of power that has been built right. They are such a blast to drive
