Oh man this is a great video but I can’t figure my harness out. I have a 2016 CRF230F engine that I dropped into my 1985 ATC200X. It’s a perfect fit with minimal modifications. My issue is wiring up my tether kill switch and how to find out which wires are for the push button start. Can anyone help? Thanks
Where does the battery ground, my bike has the ground running to the starter along with the ground from the starter relay, it’s a new battery and starter relay, when I hit the start switch nothing happens at all. No click from the relay or anything. Not sure what to do from here
Can you help me my 2007 crf150f only has a electric start and it backfired and after that when I push the button it clicks once or twice and won’t do anything else
My 2003 Honda crf 230F Its bone dead when I try to start it . put in a brand new battery with good voltage, when I hit the ignition switch nothing happens. where should I start. is it possibly a bad fuse? I'm terrible at electrical issues 😕 I would love to hear response thanks
My 230f will crank but will not start. I checked for voltage at the spark plug and it does show when i crank. It will not start regardless of how long i would crank. Does the above still apply if its cranking? I can roll start it just fine. Any ideas?
Yes. With your description I would take a look at your valve clearance. I have seen on several occasions that if a bike will not start via normal cranking but will by being puled or pushed it might be in need of a valve clearance adjustment. However, this is only a thought. It could be many things causing your issue. Very difficult to determine without having my hands on the bike. Hope you understand.
Well my e start works when I put it into neutral but it won’t start when I hold the clutch in and it’s in gear if u can help me that would be great but I think it might be my neutral safety switch
My crf230f will roll start, but shows no signs of wanting to start when I try to use the electric start. Doesn’t make a sound, nothin. The battery is fine, we even checked with a different battery that we know works. Could it be a burnt fuse or something wrong with the wires to the right of the handlebar? I also cleaned that small, spring wire beneath the sprocket. I know nothing about wiring, so please help lol!
OTRVM there is. I already checked it, and it seems fine. I can connect the wires to the charger and It’ll make a small effort, but when it’s connected to the battery, it doesn’t make any noise or show any signs of life.
My bike will sometimes start at the the beginning of the day, but sometimes I’ll have to jump start it. Also, when I’m riding around, after I shut the bike off, sometimes it’ll start, sometimes I’ll be able to roll it around for a bit, or I’ll have to jumpstart it. Any ideas?
