Very few people will ever ride this bike at max speed on a trail. Great bike. I’ve smoked plenty of guys that have 250 two strokes and up. Track is a different story but for trails it’s all you need
You virtually can’t calibrate two dynos to be worth comparing to each other. Few percents of inaccuracy always appears. Compare bikes measured on the same dyno not the same bike running on different dynos.
How do these bikes compare to an old xr250r? I have a 94 model that does everything i want it to do. Ide love one kf these though with the efi and electric start.
It’s a fun bike but you are probably right. My cousin and I lined up a new crf250l back in 2019 with a 1981 XL250S for fun and the old bike took the W every time. Just for play but you’d think technology would = speed/power but not always. Better in every way outside comfort and speed.
@@JerryJrsGarageyessir 😂 few months ago my stock piston rattling 94 xr250l dusted a crf250l with ekj fuel tuner and fmf, now about 3 weeks ago I bored it up to 291cc high comp.... Folks the thing doesn't play jokes no more, the torque is unforgiving, 2nd gear isn't an issue for the front wheel to wander up😂
So with the airbox mod exhaust and power comander it's about 19 horsepower? Would it make sense to just do the airbox or exhaust or do you not get the gains till you use the comander? Cool video !!
