Honda E | Wireless Android Auto Setup (UK) 

I couldn't get it to work on my Pixel 4a or my wife's OnePlus Nord N100 when following this excellent video. However, just yesterday, 86swhi posted the following on the Honda e forum, I've done as suggested and revisited the video tutorial and Wireless Android Auto is now working on both phones. Post Thu Sep 09, 2021 7:44 pm Not sure if anyone has had this but I couldn't get my Samsung Fold2 to connect wireless at all. I managed it eventually by accessing the Android Auto developer settings. Go to your phone settings and search Android Auto. Then repeatedly press the version number at the bottom of the main AA menu. Once activated, enter the developer settings through the three dots at the top. Toggle on "Add wireless projection to settings". From there, following everyone elses process to set-up worked. Now it's connecting wirelessly without any issues at all.

Haha damn I wish I'd spotted this vid yesterday! Literally spent an hour figuring this all out for myself, finally got it working in my E. No idea why Honda haven't enabled it by default! So dumb. Anyway thanks for the walkthrough man! Great stuff!

It worked flawless with Samsung S22 Ultra. Greetings from Portugal Update: After 6 days, it seems that doesn't connect automatically. Sometimes I have to go to Settings and then Connections and select the phone so it connects. Sometimes even doing this, doesn't make it work. The trick seems to have the phone unlocked, but it's not 100% fail proof either. The other annoying thing is when you select a destination on waze, the navigation indications come on the driver screen with random information and deselecting the navigation info doesn't work, because it will come up again. Quirky fun machine

Thanks for the tutorial might give it a go. Just wondering if anyone tried this with multiple phones. I share the car and wondering would it just link up with whichever phone it fancies wirelessly?

Does anyone know if this works on the new Civic as well. Tempted to get one but really put off by the lack of wireless AA

This dit work in my Europe Zrv to , but jou have to hold as 3 buttun the volume lower buttun , Civic has the same display , Just make sure jou delete first everything in your phone

Maybe because of my phone, but the wireless Android Auto works fine for a while but the wireless feature stops working when I turn my car off and on a few times. I don't know how and when exactly. Usually a few days later. My phone starts showing my phone is not supported for 5Ghz WiFi or such an error message. My phone does support 5Ghz WiFi. In fact, The wireless Android Auto was working. Any Idea?

I have no option for wireless connection in the android auto app, just says connect using usb
